ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

All active participants, including invited speakers, should submit abstracts.

A participant can be the presenting author of one abstract only, but may be a coauthor on other abstracts.

Responsibility for the selection of abstracts, their final acceptance and assignment for presentation rests with the Scientific Committee. Authors will receive notification of acceptance of their abstracts.

The accepted abstracts, including the abstracts of invited speakers presentations, will appear before the Meeting in abstract book as a supplement of "Periodicum Biologorum" (Zagreb), the official journal of the Croatian Immunological Society, and will be distributed to all Congress registrants.

All abstracts should be typed on the Abstract Form.
Papers should not be folded, clipped or stapled.

Abstract preparation instructions

- Abstract must be written in English.
- Typing area is 18 cm (7.1 inches) vertical by 12,3 cm (4.84 inches) horizontal on the sheet of A4 paper.
- Abstract will be reproduced directly from typescript, without subsequent modifications.
- Please use a laser printer.
- Use single spacing in all typing in this form.

- Type title in CAPITAL LETTERS. Title should be as brief as possible, but long enough to indicate the nature of study.

- Begin new line, type author’s initials and names. Omit degrees and titles. Underline the name of author who will present the work.

- Begin new line, type the short but full address (including postal code) of presenting author or institute where the research was done.

- Begin text of abstract on a new line.

- Do not type outside the margin.

- Spell out any Greek letter in title. Special symbols that are not on a typewriter should be drawn in black ink.


Abstract structure

The body of the abstract should contain the four parts in the order as shown below:
- A sentence stating the study's purpose, unless stated in the title
- A brief description of methods, if pertinent
- A summary of results
- A statement of conclusions reached. Do not simply state that "results will be discussed".


The abstract handling committee's decision will be dispatched to the presenting author. Each accepted abstract will be assigned to a symposium.
